In the final week of August, our Communication and Advocacy Unit at KECD embarked on a visit to Doopalayar District in Wawray Township. During this visit, they engaged with various stakeholders within the local community, including leaders, educators, and parents. The primary purpose of this interaction was to disseminate essential information regarding the prevailing status of KECD, the Karen education system, Karen Higher Education, information of Junior College , the robustness of the Karen Education sector, and the available opportunities for students.
This session witnessed the participation of more than 60 individuals who actively contributed to discussions concerning their concerns and opinions on the aforementioned topics.
