KECD and KTWG organized the Teacher Subsidy Distribution (TSD)

In November 2024, KECD and KTWG organized the Teacher Subsidy Distribution (TSD). Subsidies were delivered to each KECD teacher in the respective District and Township. Prior to the distribution, the process of cash handover was carefully discussed to avoid any unexpected errors.

The teachers are dedicated to improving educational development and reducing illiteracy, particularly in the Kawthoolei area. Despite facing numerous challenges, including attacks from man-made disasters and natural calamities, they remain committed to providing education services. To emphasize their dedication, teachers strive to find alternative ways for children to continue their education, even under difficult circumstances.

Although they may face personal challenges, these teachers put their own concerns aside and work tirelessly to promote education. Many of them devote their time fully to teaching, leaving little opportunity to engage in other livelihoods to support their families. To ensure their continued commitment and long-term presence in schools, it is essential to address their livelihood needs adequately.
