Children Injured and Killed by Accidental Unexploded Ordnance Explosion
On January 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM, in Doo Playa District, Kaw T’Rei Township, Kwee Ler Ter Village, an unexploded ordnance (UXO) accidentally detonated, resulting in the deaths of two children and injuries to two others.
A local leader stated “The explosion occurred under a house within the village, hit four children. Sadly, two lost their lives, and one of the deceased boys was a student.”
