On 15 November 2025, at approximately 12:00 PM, in Doo Playa District, Waw Ray Township, the State Security Peace Commission (SSPC) conducted more than 20 rounds of mortar shelling.

On 15 November 2025, at approximately 12:00 PM, in Doo Playa District, Waw Ray Township, the State Security Peace Commission (SSPC) conducted more than 20 rounds of mortar shelling. Among those, three shells landed on the Klay Hta Monastery and school compound, causing significant damage to the Klay Hta Middle School(#6185) building, its materials, and parts of the monastery.

A local leader stated, “Three shells landed in the monastery area. Since the school and monastery are located within the same compound, one school building was completely destroyed and others sustained minor damage. That day, more than 20 rounds of shelling occurred in the area.”

Similarly, on 26 September 2025, in Doo Playa District, Kaw T’Ree Township, at P’Lu Hpoe School, the SSPC conducted two drone attacks, severely damaging the school building and its materials.

The SSPC’s ongoing operations in the area involve indiscriminate bombing and shelling in villages and school zones, which continuously endanger communities, destroy schools and religious buildings, and create widespread fear.

Therefore, we urgently calling for the international community to explore ways to work with us to prevent further harm and protect civilians from this ongoing crisis.
