The State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) has been conducting airstrikes, drone attacks, and heavy shelling almost daily in the Karen area, resulting in the loss of innocent lives, injuries, fear, and severe disruption to community livelihoods. On 20 November 2025, between 3:20 pm and 5:00 pm, in Sukali Village, Kaw T’Ree Township, Doo Playa District, an SSPC jet fighter dropped four 500-pound bombs and carried out 28 rounds of firing with a Y12 aircraft. This unlawful act led to the destruction of the Sukali Primary School (School Code-6106), along with multiple community houses and livestock, including three buffaloes and one bull.

A local leader stated: “The jet fighter dropped four 500-pound bombs, causing deep craters as tall as a man. It also fired 28 rounds using the Y12 aircraft, destroying the school building and several houses, and killing three buffaloes and one bull.”

Similarly, on 7 November 2025, in Ma Aee Hkya Village, Tha Htu Township, Doo Tha Htu District, the SSPC conducted an airstrike that injured one teacher and damaged several community houses.

We urgently call on the international community to take serious action and work with us to prevent further human rights violations and protect innocent civilians.
