The State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) deliberately carried out an airstrike on Mar Mu village.

On 13 December 2025, in Mar Mu Village, Bu Ah Der Village Tract, Bu Tho Township, Mutraw District, the State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) deliberately carried out an airstrike on the village. This criminal act resulted in the death of one school-aged child and serious injuries to another. The injured child is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital due to the severity of the wounds.
Details of the Killed and Injured Students
1. Naw Wah Dee Paw, aged 6, is a Grade 1 student.
2. Naw Palae Wah, aged 4, was a nursery school student.
As a result of the bomb impact, she suffered fatal injuries and tragically lost her life.
The indiscriminate bombing by the SSPC has resulted in the killing and injury of innocent civilians, severely disrupted local livelihoods, and created serious threats to community safety. These attacks have hindered village development and significantly disrupted children’s access to education.
We respectfully urge the international community to take appropriate action against the perpetrators and to urgently provide protection for the affected local communities.
