At KECD, our commitment lies in serving our community and advancing Kawthoolei’s values. Through our organizational structure, we empower individuals, foster unity, and spearhead positive transformations.
Our 3-year strategy is focused on uplifting the Karen community through education. We’re excited to introduce several initiatives, including a Scholarship opportunity for Kawthoolei students, the establishment of a Karen National College for the young generation of Kawthoolei, advocacy efforts for KECD, and improvements to the education government system.
