SAC jet dropped 2 bombs into Htee Moo Hta village
On March 20, 2024, at 3:00 pm and on March 21, 2024, at 1:00 am, an SAC jet dropped 2 bombs into Htee Moo Hta village, Noh Poe village tract, Kaw T’ree Township (Kawkareik) , Doo Playa District. This criminal act resulted in the destruction of Htee Moo Hta primary school (#6407) and a public church, causing lose of an innocent life and injury to four community members. Htee Moo Hta had two school buildings, one of which was destroyed.
This criminal act poses a threat to the community, physically and mentally harming its members. As an educational organization, it has become a significant obstacle to carrying out educational work. Moreover, it has become a hardship for the community to fulfill their basic needs.
In addition, as the international community focus on inclusivity, we hope they pay attention to this specific situation and take action.
