SAC troops shelled a school in Kler Lwee Htoo District on August 21, 2024. Five schoolchildren were injured and the school shelter was damaged. A community leader said that the shelling happened during school hours and that a bomb struck a temporary learning center. KECD is calling for immediate action to address the violations of education and human rights.
