Taw Kyaw Paw School under attack

On September 19, 2024, 9:35 AM, the State Administration Council (SAC) deliberately carried out a drone attack, dropping two bombs on Taw Kyaw Paw Primary School in Ler Doh (Kyaukyi) Township, Kler Lwee Htoo (Nyaunglebin) District. The attack resulted in injuries to two schoolchildren and caused damage to the school building and its materials.
A local leader report that the injured children are in serious condition, and their recovery may take time. Additionally, the families are facing financial challenges in covering medical expenses for their children. The victims are currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.
The State Administration Council (SAC) has frequently carried out attacks on educational facilities. Similarly, on November 11, 2024, SAC conducted an attack on Noh Htaw Aye primary School which located in Kler Lwee Htoo District.
