State Administration Council (SAC) Troops Shelling Artillery Causes Deaths in Kler Lwee Htu District, Ler Doh Township
On December 25, 2024, SAC troops based in Kway Chaw Wa shelled artillery into Taw Kyaw Paw Village, Ler Doh Township, Kler Lwee Htu District. This criminal act brutally killed two female students (from Grade-3 and KG-A) and damaged a house.
A local leader stated, “The SAC intentionally shelled heavy weapons into the village, causing the deaths and destruction in the community.”
Similarly, a few weeks ago, on December 4, 2024, at 11:15 a.m., SAC troops intentionally shelled Lay Pay Village, injuring a student’s right hand.
The families of the students are suffering immense mental pain due to the loss of their children. We share in their grief and hope the international community will work with us to prevent further attacks on our communities.
