On February 4, 2025, in Kler Lwee Htu District, Ler Doh Township, the SAC based in (264) purposefully carried out a drone attack on Taw Kay School.
On February 4, 2025, in Kler Lwee Htu District, Ler Doh Township, the SAC based in (264) purposefully carried out a drone attack on Taw Kay School. This criminal act resulted in the complete destruction of the school building and severe damage to furniture, as well as teaching and learning materials.
Similarly, a few weeks earlier, on January 14, 2025, the SAC shelled T’Kaw Der School, also located in Kler Lwee Htu District, Ler Doh Township. This attack forced the displacement of teachers and students, compelling them to continue teaching and learning in hiding place.
As everyone knows, the SAC is destabilizing the country and causing fear among civilians. Their actions, such as bombing religious sites and educational institutions, not only lower the standard of living but also hinder the younger generation’s access to knowledge.
For these reasons, we urge international human rights organizations to work with us to protect civilians from these man-made disasters.
