This month (May 2025), our Junior College is holding entrance exams for new students. After the Kawthoolei Board exam results are released, interested students will take the entrance exam to secure a spot at JC. Once they pass the exam, they’ll become JC students. Most Junior Colleges will start their new academic year in June.
Despite challenging circumstances, many of our Junior Colleges have faced security concerns and other difficulties. However, the Karen Education and Culture Department (KECD) – Bureau of Higher Education, district education officers, teachers, and local stakeholders are working together to ensure schools open safely.
