SAC Airstrike on Htee Ther Len High School in Kaw T’Ree Township
On July 13, 2025, at 1:48 PM (Myanmar time), the SAC intentionally dropped a bomb on Htee Ther Len High School in Maw Hkee Village Tract, Kaw T’Ree Township, Doo Playa District. This unlawful act resulted in severe demolished to the school infrastructure, including classrooms, the school hall, toilet and the school mini-shop. Additionally, two nearby community houses were also damaged.
The SAC continues to carry out targeted violations against civilians and civilian infrastructure, including public hospitals, schools, and community religious buildings. Such acts of violence and atrocities occur frequently in our area.
Just three days earlier, on July 10, 2025, the SAC also conducted a bombing in Khaw Hpoe Pleh Middle School, located in Bilin Township, Doo Tha Htu District. That attack destroyed all school buildings and learning materials.
A leader reported:“On July 13, 2025, around 1:48 PM, the SAC carried out an airstrike on the Htee Ther Len school campus. One of the main school buildings, children’s play area building, and two nearby community houses were destroyed. Only one explosion was heard—it was a single bomb dropped.”
These unlawful actions have forced students, teachers, and community members to go into hiding or become displaced, facing multiple shortages of basic necessities.
We respectfully urge the international community to pay close attention to these ongoing attacks, take serious action, and help initiate immediate humanitarian support and protection for the affected communities.
