It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved principal, Saw Soe Paing (#105504), who left us on July 14, 2025. His sudden departure has deeply shocked and saddened our entire community.
Saw Soe Paing was not only a teacher — he also guided others, set a good example, and inspired his students, coworkers, and everyone who knew him.
He faithfully served as the principal of Noh Lah Hkee Primary School (#1055) for 12 years, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and compassion. Born on September 7, 1993, he tragically lost his life in July 14, 2025, after being swept away in a stream during heavy rains while returning home from fulfilling his duties.
His passing is not only a deep loss for the school but also for his family — just a few months ago, they lost a parent-in-law, and now his wife must carry on alone with their children. The entire village also mourns the loss of someone who gave so much to the community. We share in their sorrow and honor the memory of a truly dedicated educator who served with heart and purpose.
