SSPC Conduct drone attacked targeting Phoo Wah Thi Middle School
On January 29, 2026, at approximately 12:15 p.m., the State Security and Peace Commission (SSPC) intentionally conducted three drone attacks on Phoo Wah Thi Village, Kyeh Htoh Township, Doo Tha Htu District. This unlawful act resulted in damage to the Phoo Wah Thi Middle School building (#1242).
A local authority stated, “Three drone attacks occurred on the school campus. Two drones bombs exploded, while one remains unexploded.”
Similarly, three days earlier, on January 26, 2026, the SSPC carried out bombing and airstrikes on Hpaw Taw East Village, K’Ser Doh Township, Mergui–Tavoy District. These attacks damaged several school buildings and other structures in the area.
The SSPC’s indiscriminate attacks on civilian communities have caused widespread fear among the public. As a result, educational activities are being conducted in hidden locations due to serious safety concerns.

ဒ်န့ၣ်အသိးတချုးတၢ်ကဲထီၣ်သးအံၤ (၃) သီ(လါယနူၤအါရံၤ ၂၆ သီ, ၂၀၂၆) န့ၣ် သုးမီၤစိရိၤတ့ၢ်လီၤမ့ၣ်ပိၣ်လၢ ဖီတီၢ်သဝီမုၢ်ထီၣ်, ကီၢ်ဆၣ်ကစၢၢ်ဒိၣ်, ကီၢ်ရ့ၣ်ဘျံးဒဝဲၢ်ဒီးဘၣ်ဝဲကၠိတၢ်သူၣ် ထီၣ်ဒီးတၢ်ဘူၣ်တၢ်ဘါတၢ်သူၣ်ထီၣ်တဖၣ်န့ၣ်လီၤ.
