State Administration Council (SAC) Conducts Drone Attack on School
On January 16, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Yangon time, the SAC intentionally carried out two suicide drone attacks on Htee Hsea Baw Middle School in Billin Township, Doo Tha Htu District. This unlawful act resulted in damage to the school building’s roof and ceiling. Additionally, the school had to be temporarily closed.
On April 28, 2024, at 11:30 p.m. Yangon time, the school was previously attacked by an SAC airstrike. The attack negatively impacted the community’s livelihood and the standard of education. These actions have become significant obstacles to sustaining education.
We urge the international community to work with us to find ways to stop the abuse of educational rights.
